A great place to stay especially when you are cycling Izu peninsula. It is very well set up for cyclists. The onsen is nice.

Highly recommend

The property has a great vibe with cycling concept. Great rooms traditional with a bit of modern and great onsens. The staff is who really made our time there, kind and helpful and full of suggestions and recos. Totally recommend.

Wonderful

With two kids we had a great time there. Nice room condition and staff are also very genentle. The breakfast is simple and good enough. There are convience store and amazing izakaya nearby. We r willing to stay kona someday.

The room is a bit cold and cannot ventilate the air.

Amazing hotel in Izu paradise

Amazing hotel in amazing location of Izu peninsula. We love this place, staff was super friendly and very helpful, the room was beautiful, comfortable, big and cozy, breakfast was delicious with wide selection of asian and western food, great free drinks bar and absolutely gorgeous onsen. We rented ebikes from hotel and had a perfect ride around the cost.

I very much like the design of the building and the rooms. Minimalist design and fusion of western and Japanese elements. The breakfast is excellent.

The parking area is not near to the accommodation.

Lovely stay in well appointed local accomodation, amazing staff, excellent rooms and on site onsen.

Loved everything about Kona Stay, beautiful rooms, lovely Onsen and showers, exceptional staff who were so helpful and great location to be able to walk to a great tourist attraction - the panorama cable car. A great stay for bike riders and tourist alike.

Great stay in this ryokan with bike focus.

Ryokan with bike focus. We planned to rent e-Bike to travelling around town unluckily it was raining. We had to come back the other day to enjoy biking in this small town. They also have onsen right on spot for relaxing. Overall great experience.

Hotel parking is not on site, you have to walk about 5 minutes.

Friendly staff, rooms are big, the communal facilities are good, such as the onsen and nightly fire pit. Definitely try one of their bicycle tours around the Izu peninsula

Great value for money! Nice rooms, good breakfast, and staff (not fancy, but nice). Bikes and even a cabin for a baby! That was an incredible experience!

Water in onsen is so hot, that I can’t even stand in it.

Exceptional

We liked that it was a modern property, done in a traditional Japanese style. Spacious, tatami rooms with really comfortable beds. The Onsen was large, clean and relaxing. The whole place was quiet and clean and you could wear your pyjamas. It had dormitory beds which we wouldn't hesitate to use in future. It felt like a hostel in many positive ways and we chatted to other guests about their travels. We enjoyed the fire pit and toasted marshmallows and had complimentary tea and drinks and ate our 7/11 dinner at the hotel one night, but enjoyed the local Yakiniku another night.

They advised us not to rent bikes due to the high winds. No one's fault and it couldn't be helped and we appreciated their safety-mindedness.

The big room for family

The room was big enough for family, and the private bathroom and Onsen can chooses by individual. Staffs are very helpful.

The bathroom was very cold, the parking place is bit far from hotel (if you left something in the car. You won’t want to go).

It was a beautiful place located in an easy to find street. The staff were very kind and helpful especially when we were renting out their bicycles to get around the town.

Excellent for bicycle stay passing through.

Hotel was excellent and lots of cool nice people staying there.

The only thing is the height of the dorm capsules, being on top is uncomfortable to reach. The could be fixed by using non-square ladder rungs. The lockers need redesign but not a major thing. More than two outlets in the capsule is often critical (it was for me but I managed by waking up and changing devices being charged), only one provided.

Great little zen away from home

You have the option to hire a bike, which I did. Staff were very hospitable and helpful in providing what I needed to make my bike ride easier. Overall a really warm and cosy place to stay

There is very few free shuttle bus available from 伊豆长冈 train station to the hotel which is not very convenient for travelers with big luggage.

Wonderful

Room was big and beautiful. Ryokan style with western beds. Onsen was also really good. We rented the bikes for 1 day and really recommend the experience. The view to Mount Fuji was amazing!

The room’s acoustic was not so good. You could hear everything in the corridor.
